The Flip Normals tool, located under the Points tab, reverses the direction of the normals associated with the points in the active point cloud. To use the tool, select a point cloud in the scene tree and click Flip Normals under the Points tab.
For this example, we converted a flat mesh into a point cloud using Mesh to Points under the Mesh Edit tab. To make the initial orientation of the point-cloud normals easier to see, we enabled Show Normals under the Inspect tab. The lines displayed in the viewport show the current direction of the point normals.
After clicking Flip Normals, the direction of the point-cloud normals is reversed. Unlike the mesh version of the tool, Flip Normals for point clouds does not close Show Normals, so the updated normals remain visible in the viewport.
