Common issues and fixes

  • File opens without color/texture
    • Check table support. For OBJ, verify the .mtl and textures sit next to the .obj.
  • DICOM loads with wrong spacing/orientation
    • Confirm you selected the folder containing a single consistent series.
  • RAW looks distorted
    • Recheck dimensions and how the data was saved (axis order, voxel spacing). RAW has no metadata.
  • Large imports are slow or fail
    • Use binary formats when possible. Import fewer objects at a time. Close unneeded objects.
  • TIFF voxels unavailable in browser
    • Download and install desktop app: CT → Open Voxels from TIFF.
  • Export disabled
    • Select objects of the same type. Only one target format per export.
